Transcription beta
The transcription service stores the web-video URL and shared-tab title you submit, job status, a one-way hash of the private job key kept in your browser, a keyed network fingerprint used for abuse limits, and the captured audio and results needed to process your request. The server validates but does not visit or download the source URL. You open the source in your own browser, so this site never receives credentials for Instagram, YouTube, or another third-party service.
Storage and deletion
Only the shared tab's audio track is recorded; captured video frames are not uploaded. Private audio is removed after a successful correction rebuild, when you delete the job, or 24 hours after capture, whichever happens first. Keeping it for at most 24 hours permits one Piano/Choral correction rebuild. Completed result files are available for seven days, and minimal job history is removed after 30 days.
Service providers
Vercel hosts the website and private file storage. OpenAI provides the temporary hosted compute environment used to analyze the captured audio and generate draft files. These providers receive only the information needed to operate their part of the service.
